Portland Lacrosse LLC and Major League Lacrosse are looking for volunteers to help with the upcoming MLL PDX event on August 9. Individuals picked to help with the event will have a chance to meet some of the greatest lacrosse players in the world and have a hand in one of the most exciting events to come to Portland! Volunteers will also be given free parking, meal passes and MLL PDX apparel.

Preliminary duties include (but aren’t limited to) preparing ticket stock, collateral and merchandise for dispersal at the event. In the 48 hours before the MLL game responsibilities include (but again aren’t limited to) setting up and maintaining the lacrosse field, vendor village, VIP party zone, press box and suites at Hillsboro Stadium.

Necessary hours include 30-40 hours of prep time in the few weeks leading into the weekend of the event, 5-6 hours of set-up time on Friday, August 8 and 8-10 hours of event operations time on Saturday, August 9. Shifts will run no more then 6 hours prior to August 9 and no more then 8 on the day of the main event. Previous lacrosse and/or event management experience is preferred. Interested applicants should be 18 or over (21 and over for areas where alcohol is served).
